Full-Stack Web Developer
Building production-oriented full-stack web applications with modern JavaScript technologies, focusing on scalable architecture, shipping reliable software, and thoughtful user experiences.
I'm Swarnabha Banerjee, a Full-Stack Web Developer currently pursuing Computer Applications. I enjoy building production-oriented web applications that combine intuitive user experiences with scalable backend architecture and thoughtful engineering.
I enjoy solving real-world problems through clean, maintainable software while continuously exploring modern technologies and development practices. My focus is on creating applications that balance usability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
I'm currently seeking internship opportunities where I can contribute to meaningful products, collaborate with experienced engineers, and continue growing through real-world software development.
Five core areas where I design, build, and solve engineering problems across modern software products.

A timeline of how I went from writing my first lines of code and learning the fundamentals to building and shipping full-stack applications
October 2024 - March 2025
I started my programming journey with C while preparing for my semester exams. During this time, I explored C more deeply while also learning the basics of data structures and algorithms and core programming concepts.

April 2025 - July 2025
I moved into web development, starting with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript before exploring backend development with Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. I then moved into React and Next.js, along with Auth.js for authentication, covering the core technologies and concepts of the MERN stack and full-stack web development.

August 2025 - October 2025
I started putting what I had learned into practice, beginning with small tutorial and practice projects. From basic exercises, I moved into frontend applications and eventually full-stack projects, experimenting with React and Next.js along the way. This phase was largely about building, experimenting, and gradually taking on more involved projects of my own.

November 2025 - July 2026
I decided to move beyond practice projects and build something closer to a real-world application: StoryHub, a full-stack Next.js application. This phase focused on building its core features while exploring performance optimization, scalability, feature management, and the challenges that come with developing a larger application. Along the way, I experimented with modern web development practices and applied what I learned directly to StoryHub, gradually evolving it from a practice project into a much more developed application.

August 2026 - Present
I’m continuing to deepen my understanding of modern web technologies and production-level application development, while looking for opportunities to apply what I’ve learned in real-world environments. I’m also working on further developing StoryHub into a more mature and efficient application. Alongside this, I’m exploring AI and how it can be meaningfully integrated into the applications I build. The journey continues through learning, building, and applying.
